Pekalongan City, Medianasional.id – The Indonesian Aviation Navigation Service Provider (AirNav Indonesian) in collaboration with the Pekalongan City government back to spread out the Java Traditional Festival Balloon 2019, with a place at Hoegeng Stadium, Kraton sub-district, West Pekalongan District, Pekalongan City, Wednesday (12/06 / 2019).
The activity was opened in Pekalongan City for the second time after 2018 ago successfully with similar activities. For the participants themselves, for the year 2019 there were 107 teams who registered but those who could attend were 105 Teams, and the activities were opened directly by the Governor of Central Java H. Ganjar Pranowo, S.H, M.IP.
Ganjar said that, various events currently held by the City Government of Pekalongan are the creativity of the mayor who is very good and needs to be preserved.
“I really appreciate for this activity, and we need to support the creativity of the mayor to continue to be preserved, because it is very beneficial for the safety of aviation traffic in Indonesia and it is seen that the community can gather witu harmony.”
Meanwhile, Noviriyanto Raharjo (Director of Airnav Indonesia) said that the event was held today, a follow-up in preserving the tradition of people flying air balloons without disturbing the safety and security of aviation, especially on the island of Java.
He will continued, in the Minister of rules Transportation regulation number 40 of 2018 the standard balloon size not exceeding 4 meters in width, 7 meters in height, and balloons should not be removed but must be tethered according to a maximum height of 150 meters.
On this occasion the activities carried out, the Dandim 0710 / Pekalongan also greatly appreciated the activities held, and hoped that besides being a socialization about flying balloons for flight safety, it also can be used as a tourist attraction.
“Of course this is a positive thing that we must support, because with activities like this, people can understand the dangers of flying balloons in accordance with applicable regulations, or just being released,” He said.
