South Lampung, medianasional.id – Five people were killed by waves when they were on holiday in Eid 2019 on the Beach of Sinar Laut, Tarahan Village, Katibung District, South Lampung Regency, Province Lampung on Thursday.
“They were on vacation on Thursday morning,” Babinsa said, Kurdish Sertu village secretary when confirmed on Thursday.
Kurdish will continued that the five of victims were known as Sukiri 17 years old , Riski 17 years old, Yan 18 years old, Fikri 18 years old, and Nisa 16 years old. He is a only woman.
The five are resident of Batu Liman Hamlet , Tanjung Agung Village, Katibung District, South of Lampung Regency.
Previously, as many as seven people were swept away by the big waves, but two people were rescued.
“Two survivors named Agus and Lukman,” he said.
Kurdish will explained the incident began when seven people swam to the shore and to the deeper sea. When swimming, one of the victims was dragged and attracted to the middle of the waves.
They are cannot swimming, when one victim was interested they helped each other so that the five of them finally sank. Two of the five people were dragged down by the waves found in a separate location,” he said. (Amin Padri)
